Choose Canvas to turn media into living visuals, Compose to write music, or Scenes to edit a music video. Compose now includes eight tracks, a piano roll, sample import, repeatable song sections, automation, and consistent music exports. Scenes combines local audio, visual clips, titles, artwork, and video export.

Eidolon Compose is a free generative beat maker and visual instrument. Start from a seeded rhythm or program every step yourself, then shape the sound, arrange a song sketch, and watch six visual worlds respond as you work.
Choose Pulse, Broken, Halo, or Ritual; set key, tempo, swing, humanize, and density; then generate a repeatable starting pattern. Mutate, Fill, Simplify, and Intensify reshape the selected pattern while respecting anything you lock.
Work with eight synthesized or sampled voices across up to sixteen patterns. Each pattern can hold 16, 32, or 64 steps, with velocity, probability, ratchets, timing nudge, pitch, and locks available for every step.
Arrange up to 32 pattern scenes, switch between pattern and song playback, and shape each voice with level, pan, tone, decay, mute, solo, and lock controls. Drive and Space shape the master output.
Eidolon does more than place hits on a grid. Compose routes the beat into responsive generative worlds, letting rhythm, energy, and frequency shape a visual performance while you create.
The eight voices are synthesized in your browser; Eidolon does not bundle a third-party sample library. Your working pattern, recovery snapshot, and saved projects remain on your device. Optional aggregate analytics loads only if you allow it, and it never includes beat names or pattern data.
Ownership and commercial use
Eidolon claims no ownership over the original beats or exported files you create with Compose, and it charges no royalty for using them. Export, edit, publish, distribute, or commercially use your original output. You remain responsible for applicable law and for rights in any outside material you choose to combine with it.
